About Yasaman
Yasi earned her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Alliant International University in 2012 and trained in Mexico and India. She specializes in immigration trauma and prejudice-related issues and uses competence-based approaches.
She works with individuals, couples, and families, addressing domestic violence, mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, infertility, grief, adolescent adjustment, LGBTQIA2S+ concerns, and relationship issues. Yasi holds clinical certificates in Latin American Family Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and conducts therapy in English, Spanish, and Farsi.
Recently relocated after six years in Amsterdam, she enjoys foreign cuisine, board games, scary movies, and board sports.
